PRIVACY POLICY

Short version: we collect what the app needs to work, we don't sell it, and you can delete all of it yourself, any time.

What we collect

• Account: your email, handle, display name, and optional profile photo.
• Taste data: films you love, log, watchlist, or get dealt; your streaming services; your written taste profile (generated by an AI model from your film picks); playlists and reactions.
• Usage events: in-app actions (deals, shares, follows) tied to your account, used to make the product work and improve it.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not track you across other apps or sites.
• We do not show you third-party ads based on your personal data.

Who processes data for us

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel — hosting.
• Groq — runs the AI model that writes taste profiles and suggests films. Your film titles and reactions are sent for processing; your email is not.
• TMDB / OMDb / YouTube — film metadata, ratings, and trailers. Your poster and trailer loads go to their servers like any image or video on the web.

What's public

Your member card — handle, display name, photo, taste profile, rank, loved films, watch history, and mixtapes — is visible to anyone with the link, so friends can find you and shared lists work. Don't put anything in a note you wouldn't say in a theater lobby.

Your controls

• Edit or remove loved films, logs, and your profile any time.
• Block and report other members from their member card.
• Delete your account in Settings → Leave the theater — this permanently removes your account, content, and events.
