Patricia Elizabeth Thomson (September 7, 1940 - April 18, 1992) was an English-born Australian television and film actress, best remembered as Shirley Hastings, the over-zealous, pretentious mother of Scott Hastings in the 1992 Australian film Strictly Ballroom.
