Bio
Arthur Timotheo da Costa Canedo de Magalhães was born in Rio de Janeiro on June 17, 2011, and grew up alongside his sister. From an early age, he showed an interest in stories and audiovisual language, developing a curiosity that, over time, grew into a passion for cinema. His greatest reference is Quentin Tarantino, the filmmaker who has most influenced his approach to directing and storytelling. He also draws inspiration from Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, and Paul Thomas Anderson, whose styles shaped his earliest experiments as a director. Motivated by these influences, he began producing independent short films, using family members, cousins, and his sister as cast members.
