Mario Rodríguez

Born in 1994, Mario Alberto Rodríguez Herrera grew up in Mexico City. After completing his law degree, he devoted himself fully to his passion for film. He worked as a freelancer and on projects for the Electoral Institute of Mexico City before enrolling at ESCINE in 2022. There, he co-developed the short film “V1-TRUVIUS,” which was selected for several festivals. “Sonder” is his thesis short film, made in collaboration with Luis Guerrero, with whom he founded the animation studio V1 Studio.
