An Egyptian writer and director. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University and worked in the field of medicine, then obtained a diploma in cinema and has several short films, but soon directed a large number of feature films, including: Saeid Claquette, The Fourth Pyramid, and Monkey Talks.
