The story of their meeting, their love and the tragic events of the year 1937 that destroyed their family, is told by their son, Alexandr Zbruev. A few months after the birth of Alexandr, Viktor Alexeevich Zbruev, was shot, and his mother, of noble ancestry, was sent into exile with her infant.
