In 1994, a young gay man, Steve, living in Vancouver’s West End is abandoned by his family after an HIV diagnosis. Desperate for help, Steve hires a home agency that sends a young care aide, Susan. Susan both infuriates and enchants Steve as they navigate an adverse medical system and the stigma of the disease.
