One day, J stumbles upon a post on a second-hand marketplace app: "Do you remember plaster drawing? (Seeking interviewees, honorarium provided)." The phrase pulls her back to over two decades ago. After three exhausting attempts, she finally gained admission to a university in Seoul, only to discover that the techniques she had worked so hard to perfect meant little in the wider world of art. Professors quickly denounced the very style that had secured her admission. She began to ask herself: if they all agreed it was flawed, why did the system remain unchanged?
