His ability to democratize health information goes far beyond the clinic, teaching the public about prevention, exercise, and healthy habits through radio, television, the internet, and more than 20 published books. Now, at 82, Drauzio looks back on his childhood in Brás, his work as an oncologist, his AIDS-prevention campaigns, his volunteer work in prisons, and his deep relationship with sports as a path to balance and well-being.
