Chinese documentary by Ronja Yu. The city of Beijing is undergoing enormous changes during the preparation for the summer Olympics 2008. A blend new Beijing, with a vision for the future, is replacing the old emperor capital. In some close-ups, we meet the people of Beijing who lose their homes and face an uncertain future. They have raised their voices against homes being destroyed and history of their city being lost for ever.
